Astrological Notes – November 2006

Mercury, the planet of communication and clear-thinking, is in retrograde (moving backwards) through the zodiac between October 28th and November the 17th.

The key issues here are about clarity and precision on terms of thinking, decision making and communication.

Jupiter moves out of Scorpio and enters Sagittarius on the 24th… it’s a good place for this planet to be and can bestow luck, fortune and adventure on all its friends.

More specifically then…

FIRE SIGNSARIES

Time to stop your creative avoidance and get on with what needs to be done… If you’ve been burying your head in the sand now is the time to take a good, long, hard look at what you’re doing and where you’re going. You now have the energy and opportunity to get on with things… use it well as you might find some of your natural exuberance and optimism deserting towards the end of the month.

November the 5th and the full moon could be a pivotal point for you – allow yourself to go with changes and act upon your dreams.

LEO

You’re in the frame of mind to enjoy being an exciting and dynamic Leo this month. So much is happening on all sorts of levels if you only take the time to notice the possibilities around you. There’s a lot of ‘I’ in this month so it might be that you are doing things to please yourself or simply to satisfy some personal whim. Take care that you do not come across as being too pushy or full of yourself whilst enjoying the sensation of being a little self-centred.

Expect some surprises towards the end of the month as fate opens a some interesting doors.

SAGITTARIUS

Try to settle yourself down as the month begins, conserve a little of your energy and enthusiasm…. Things are certainly on the change. What begins as a trickle of changing fortune as November begins, turns into an exciting and potentially life changing time at the end.

Luck is on your side after the 24th so a little bit of a pre-Christmas flutter might pay off provided you don’t start living on the promises of fortunes that have not yet been made.

AIR SIGNSAQUARIUS

Partnerships of all kinds are the focus of this month…. New business deals in particular would be well worth considering favourably. If you’ve been out of sorts recently or concerned about how things were going, now is a good time to take a long hard look at what you’ve got and what you want. For some what they think want is not always what they actually need (or if they’re being honest KNOW they really need).

Celebrate the you that can feel free and free yourself from the you that feels limited… there’s something exciting on its way, but you might have to wait just a little longer - you know that makes sense!

GEMINI

Work, career or how you spend your time being productive is the focus this month. There may be that recurring theme of work-life balance which needs some careful thought OR it might well be that some opportunity will present itself that makes your life no less complicated BUT certainly more interesting.

As always you may well be in two minds about the offers that come your way, personally and professionally – and you will need to watch what you say towards the end of the month when what people HEAR you saying is not actually what you said and most definitely what you meant.

LIBRA

Get those finances in order – ‘cause they are likely to cause you more of a concern than usual if you leave everything to itself. Take care in all financial transactions this month and make sure you’re read the small print on any agreement you sign – especially at the beginning of the month!.

Try to be concise in all your communications – you might end up saying more than you meant in some situations and more than you care to reveal in others. Also watch-out for the mindless gossip of others – you could find yourself at the end of a personal misunderstanding as your mouth moves before your brain has engaged!

WATER SIGNSSCORPIO

This is an exciting month for you – dynamic, passionate, mysterious and provocative could well be the words which sum up your personal relationships this month. You might need to keep yourself in check in order to allow others a chance to catch their breath…. Intensity can be both exciting and claustrophobic, so be sensitive to the needs of others.

Why not use this incredible energy on something long term… or an a project which has been requiring your attention for some time. If you could harness this passion and excitement this month there’s no telling what could be changing for you.

CANCER

Get a little romantic, get a little passionate, get a little – something going in your life and your relationships. The mood of the month is enjoyment and the pleasure of good company and creative conversation…. It might be spoiled by the over zealous concerns of a partner about finances and mundane issues however. If this happens recognise their concerns but also try to get them to ‘chilll’ and enjoy just one or two moments of self-indulgence. You might find that this kind of togetherness brings a new perspective or an unexpected solution to a problem that’s been bugging you…

PISCES

My grandmother, not unlike most grandmothers, had a wonderful collection of sayings… one of them was… “If things don’t alter they’ll stay as they are!”…. wonderful…. And in some respects that saying may well sum up you attitude to things… Either you have become resigned to some on-going situation or you’ve felt powerless to take action… WELL, if you want to and if you’re ready to make a move, something will present itself this month which might just give you the kick you’ve needed…..

Be prepared to think laterally and find solutions is areas you wouldn’t have normally considered!

EARTH SIGNSTAURUS

Some things tend to grow and grow and grow – even if you’ve not been paying too much attention… Waist-lines are particularly like that! But here’s the point – just what is it that you’ve been taking for granted or ignoring over the last few weeks or months?

Something may well be slipping from your grasp and you’ve only just noticed how lose your grip was!
It’s not too late to hold onto the things you want and to LET go of the things you’ve suddenly noticed are holding you back.

Get some advice if you need too cause now is a good time to prepare for some dramatic personal changes.

VIRGO

Oh go on then, let yourself be the charming and flirtatious individual you can AND want to be – especially this month. It’s OK to be the trick-or-treater all month if you choose to be…

Unless you have to try to not take too many things seriously – have some fun… lighten up. So you want things to be organised and sorted around you… but now might not be the best time to push square pegs into round holes. Use your organisational energies to organise that great Autumn party or pre-Christmas extravaganza!

CAPRICORN

Guess what, you seem to get it right this month… well in terms of a balance between personal and work time. You’ll find yourself having fun juggling your diary this month as one offer quickly follows another and for once they’re not mutually exclusive offers. You can find time to play at work and work at play… you might discover others becoming envious of your new found work-life balance and, when you look back it this month next month, you’ll even wonder how you ever managed it.
