The full moon on the 26th of August sheds an interesting light on a recurring issue. Perhaps you’ve been looking at a situation with slightly rose tinted glasses and now the time has come for a dose of realism. The full moon still casts some pretty deep shadows so you’re going to need to watch your step as the autumn months bring with them some interesting challenges

Seems like you may have found yourself running off at the mouth a little recently and perhaps to the wrong person… Words spoken in haste or under the influence of intoxicating substances come back to haunt you – especially if you thought of them as being ‘sweet-nothings’ … with an emphasis on the ‘nothing’ of major importance to you. A sense of foreboding and possibly restriction (self-imposed or otherwise) has been casting a shadow over proceedings but take heart as from the 2nd September things start to look up and any emotional knots you’ve been finding yourself in will slowly come untied.

You’ve been feeling a bit of a buzz of late perhaps and there is a growing sense of optimism as you find some interesting solutions to bothersome problems. You are ready to fly, to make some changes or at least you are seeing some interesting possibilities that have started to present themselves. There is a need to control your own sense of impatience and realise that you might need to play the waiting game a little longer although now you do see something worth waiting for!

Enjoy yourself and try not to let the nagging voice of guilt stop you from recharging your emotional batteries. Next month could bring some surprises and so it’s much better to get the relaxing done whilst you can,

From the 20th August onwards you start to feel more positive about things and the get up and go you thought had got up and gone seems to find its way back to you. Which is just as well as you will need to get a lot of things sorted and finalised before the start of September. You are in the right space now to make those calls you need to make; get the agreements you need and say what you need to say. Best not prevaricate – strike whilst the iron is hot… and like this forecast use as many clichés and you can to get things moving! September brings new friendships and possibly romance IF you’ve done all you need to do NOW!

It may seem like things have been a bit of a grind of late. Tasks which seemed easy suddenly become hard work and simple projects begin to take on epic proportions. Time to call in some favours and get those friends who’ve been offering to help actively involved. Put your stubborn side aside, as it were, and lift your head up from the grindstone to see what is actually available to you. Take heart in the knowledge that we often learn best from our mistakes so you’ve probably learned so much over the last few weeks. As the month winds to a weary close September brings some interesting news.

It may seem like you’ve been giving up so many things of late and that people (or situations) have been directing your choices and limiting your options… Well… perhaps that is so, it is more likely however that you’ve really become a bit of a slave to your own expectations and habits. Time to take that bit of advice you’ve been given and look at the big picture. You’ve been so focussed on the detail that you’re missing the point. Really question what you believe is stopping you from doing the things you truly want to do. Look at where you might be wasting your time and energy on fighting the changes you really want to make for yourself.

So you’ve been doing the ‘I want to be alone’ bit recently – hiding in your shell in what you consider to be a ‘journey of self-discovery but in what others may call ‘moping’. Be honest now, it may seem to the rest of the world that your inner quest for peace and harmony as actually been you being a ‘moody so and so’. Well all that’s about to change. Decisions have been made and you seem ready to pop your head from under that shell and face the world with renewed vigour and sense of purpose.Time to move onwards and upwards as new deals may well be struck in the next few weeks.

So how has August been so far for you? Interesting? You’ll discover some inner reserves of creative energy as the month ends and you’ll be so happy to tell everyone about it… guess what, there may well be something quite significant to ‘shout about’. Some news, a new project a crazy scheme – you’ll be letting some secret plans out of the bag and launching them with a real sense of occasion.

Do you remember the song about the old lady who swallowed the fly and the extremes to which she want to solve that particular insect problem. Well that same straight line, panic-mode, thinking is really doing you a disservice at the moment. You seem to find yourself racing around looking for the horse to catch the dog to chase the cat to eat the bird to catch the spider (which wiggles and wriggles and tickles) to catch the fly. It’s all so convoluted, time consuming and tiring. It’s about thinking differently – that fly could be a source of protein, so why waste all that livestock in trying to deal with it. Seriously – take a leaf out of the Piscean book this month which is about learning to step back and see the big picture… It’s in this big picture that the real scheme of things can be understood and decisions made about what is really important

At the risk of stretching my metaphors to breaking point the humble fly could well make an appearance in your horoscope over the next few weeks. Only don’t think about flies which are being inadvertently eaten by careless old women, think buzzing around with, how shall I put it, more than one blue rear-end!You either have so much energy OR you have so much to do that you are in danger of chasing your tail. Now it may well be that you really do have to do all of the things you say you have to do… but it is important that you find some time to slow down and take stock of just what it is you’ve achieved and how that fits with what your really want to achieve.

The month may well end on a far quieter note than you currently think is possible or indeed likely. Ideas which seemed a little outlandish or impossible at the start of the summer now take on a new form and could well offer something irresistible and far more rewarding than they first seemed. September brings news which may well give even more ‘shape’ to one or two ideas in particular and turn into an exciting plan of action. The start of the month does find you in a good space for discussions and in depth talks with people…this trend does not run through the entire month however so make the most of your eloquence early on. From the 11th you might find yourself opening your mouth at the wrong time and your verbal dexterity could fail you – especially with love ones with whom misunderstandings could become a bit of an issue.
